Waiting for an Autism or ADHD Referral?
There has been a significant rise in the number of people, both locally and across the nation, seeking assessments for suspected autism and/or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Unfortunately, this surge in demand has resulted in longer waiting times than anyone would hope for.
We understand how challenging it can be for individuals and their families or carers to wait for services when support is urgently needed. To assist you during this interim period, the Integrated Care Board (ICB) have compiled a simple listing of core support resources available in Sussex.

These resources are intended to help you manage some of your and your family’s needs while awaiting further assessment. For more comprehensive information about a wider range of services and support, please refer to the Local Offer websites provided by your local authority, which are linked below.
Please note that a child does not need a formal diagnosis or an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) to access the services included here.
