Test Results on the Patient Knows Best App
We are experiencing a huge rise in calls asking to discuss test results that appear out of range or abnormal on the Patient Knows Best app often before they are visible to us on your GP record.
We appreciate this can be worrying, but please be reassured that very urgent abnormal results are phoned through to us by the hospital for action the same day. Our usual process for all other non-urgent results is for them to go to the doctor who requested them. Often it takes many days to get the full final results so it may be up to a week before you hear from us.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation, which will ensure we are able to deal with all test results in the appropriate order.
