Purpose:
Patients can take their own blood pressure, height and weight measurements without the need to make an appointment at the surgery thereby allowing them to monitor their own health. The data collected is written back to the patient's record thus saving GPs time and resources.
Legal Basis:
Article 6(1)e - "processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the controller";
Article 9(2)h - "processing is necessary for the purpose of preventive or occupational medicine";
